Been doing a little siteseeing (arr,arr...I love puns) among the blogs of the TypePad beta testers and here's a bit of what I've found.
I Heart Mena. Unquestionably the best blog title I've seen so far. I hope Bejamin doesn't kick yer butt fer it though! (Benjamin & Mena are the principals behind Six Apart and TypePad - ed.)
Tour de France 2003 You can't tell from the address, but he is indeed powered by TypePad. An extraordinarily well done site covering the Tour. Frank collects info from a number of sources, and provides pretty much daily updates of what's happening behind the scenes. Oh, and his Beginner's Guide to Watching the Tour de France post is required reading for anyone who wants to really "get" what's going on. I especially like the links to the photo galleries.
You Are Here. Brian Hess is also on the job hunt, and has some really interesting observations on the process of hunting, and the personal introspection that inevitably comes along with it. (I'm dealing with a lot of the same stuff - ed.) He's got some interesting tech posts, and he's another Tour de France afficionado as well. He points out the inevitable; if Armstrong wins, the naysayers will claim it's only because Beloki crashed. Sigh. Go read him. His posts are really thoughtful, well written, and hilarious when he want's 'em to be. Oh yea, and it appears he didn't exactly hate the movie Pirates of the Carribean either. (For some reason his main page is only showing one post, so be sure to check out his archive for all the goodness.)
So that's what I've been reading. What about you?

Heh, that was the only objection I had to the name... If I was Ben, I'd be looking for my IP address so I could do a lookup and then a butt kick :P. Hopefully that's just me.

Don't worry about the naysayers and Beloki; if you win the Tour 5 times, it's not by luck. Heck, even if you only win it 3 times, like Greg LeMond, it's not by luck.
