Over the past few years I've taken on an alternative interpretation of Valentine's Day that makes me a lot happier than the icky lackluster consumerist Hallmark one. This year my alternative V-Day was defined by getting up early like a kid on Christmas and making little snow hearts and putting them on all my neighbors' vehicles. Then later that day I had dinner with two of my best friends! Sweet!!!
I send cards with photos of the St. Valentines Day Massacre.
That usually puts an end to the sappiness.

I like the snow-heart idea, Jenny. Unfortunatly, if you do that sort of thing round here, you'd get yourself kilt! (And yes, I spelled that right) :-)
Paul, you do know that I really wanted to select you as my Valentine, but I didn't want to hurt Mike's feelings. ;-)
